If you are or have been a deaf student, a university professional or provided support to deaf students during to the COVID-19 pandemic we want to hear from you.
This project focuses on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on deaf university students from across the UK – England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.
- Approximately 60 deaf students from a range of backgrounds (deaf students will get £25 voucher after completion of interview)
- 40 professionals from universities, as well as academics, managers, and support staff, to take into account their experiences of managing inclusion for deaf students during the pandemic.
- 15 people who provide direct support to students whether freelance or employed by an HE provider.
Interviews will be conducted over Zoom and communication preferences will be accommodated using sign language interpreters, captioners, or any other adjustments as required.
Each interview will take approximately one hour.
