A best practice in higher education deaf awareness workshop was a face-to-face workshop in Birmingham on 13th January. A Deaf Students’ Journey – Deaf Awareness in Higher Education Workshop Tickets, Fri 13 Jan 2023 at 13:00 | Eventbrite HE staff, students and other interested parties come along to learn best practice from deaf students recruited as consultants who have co-designed and co-deliver the workshops. This session went so well that a current deaf student asked to join our team.

Best practice workshops!

We have recruited some of our deaf students as consultants to help us to co-produce best practice workshops to be delivered to universities across the UK. We are paying the consultants £150 in vouchers for each workshop they deliver.
